August 2014: Sage wins the World Long Distance Mountain Challenge at the Pikes Peak Ascent! The 13.3 mile race with 7600′ of climbing to the top of Pikes Peak had a strong international component to it as a mountain running championship. Sage lead team USA to victory with a time of 2:10.

Sage runs 1.92 miles in the Uphill Challenge (15% uphill grade for 15 minutes on a treadmill) at Outdoor Retailer to win against Max King, Mike Wardian and others. Video recap here:
July 2014: Another victory at the Speedgoat 50km in Utah. Once again Sage places first in the 50km SkyRunning/Mountain race that he set a course record at last year while edging out Anton Krupicka.
March 2014: Sage repeats as a champion at the Tarawera Ultra Marathon in New Zealand!

July 2012: Sage wins the White River 50 and breaks Anton Krupicka’s course record by over 9 minutes with a 6:16!
June 16th, 2012: Sage wins the Mt. Washington Road Race in 58:27…the fastest time ever by an American!

March 17th, 2012: Sage places 2nd overall at the Chuckanut 50k in Bellingham, WA after getting lost on the course and falling.
